  “Mr. Mesa.”

The tails of the leather whip slid down between her cheeks as he teased her with it. Then suddenly he pulled back and whipped her. She flinched but didn’t say a word.

“When do you get to come?”

“When you say I can,” she moaned.

He cracked the whip again, harder this time.

  “Whose pussy is that?”

“Yours,” she cried out, shaking and anticipating another crack of the whip. I realized we both were as I flinched, expecting him to bring the leather down on her reddening ass once again.

Instead, surprising us both, he went to his knees and spread her cheeks apart, licking her from pussy to anus, before plunging his fingers inside her and sucking on her clit.

She was so on the edge that he brought her to another orgasm that made her cry out, rocking against his face. I realized my legs were squeezed together and that I was almost as close as she was and knew that I had to get out of there.

Regaining my composure, I slipped out of the door unnoticed. Once I was back in the hall I looked all around, hoping I could find the restroom this time and get in there before one of them came out of the room. Not that I expected that to be anytime soon. There it was, with a tiny sign on the door. Easy to have missed in the darkness of the hallway, I thought to myself as I pushed the door open and stepped inside, locking in behind me.

“Fuck,” I looked at myself in the mirror and without a second thought I unzipped my jeans and stuck my fingers inside my panties. I was soaking wet and my clit was hot and hard, awakened by the erotic vision in that office. I flicked my middle finger against it, imagining that guy, whoever he was, kneeling in front of me, sucking my clit like it was the most delicious thing he had ever tasted. Then the vision of him whipping the girl came back to me and that was it…that was the thing that put me over the edge. The thought of such exquisite, sharp pain against my ass, followed by him between my legs again, soothing me in the most amazing way. I braced myself against the wall as my hips jerked into my hand.

When it had passed and I had mustered up the energy to pee and wash my hands, I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked freshly fucked. I knew what that looked like. I had seen Samantha coming out of her room after an evening with one of her guy friends. Hell, I had just seen the same sort of thing out on the floor here at Club V. A fucking shows up in the eyes. Widened pupils, flushed face…I looked down. Shirt not tucked in the same way. Oh well, at least I had been to the bathroom, though Celeste would certainly wonder if something was wrong with the length of time I had been gone.

I left the bathroom and headed back down the hallway and out to the bar. There weren’t quite as many people on the main floor now and I was grateful. How much more could I take in one evening?

“You okay?” Celeste asked as she came back over to where I sat back down. She had delivered a drink to another patron down at the other end of the bar but came back to me with a look of slight concern on her face.

“Yeah, just…I might have had something that didn’t settle right. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.”

She narrowed her eyes and gave me a once over, then grinned. “Did my little story about meeting Amber do something for you? Did you have to go take care of yourself? I know I really shouldn’t be asking you this since you’re a patron and all, but you aren’t a member. And you’re Sam’s roommate. I consider you a friend.”

“Uh, yeah. Sorry, that’s so embarrassing.” But not as embarrassing as admitting I had walked into that office and seen whoever that Jake guy was…doing what he was doing to the girl in the collar.

  “Would you like another drink?”

I nodded. “Yeah, sure. I think I’ll have Sam drive us home.”

  Celeste smiled. “Coming right up.”

I waited for the drink and kept my eyes there on the bar, looking at the many rows of colorful liquids behind the bar, artfully arranged and glowing from the back light. It was hard to keep my mind from going back to what I had witnessed in the office. Who was Jake…Mr. Mesa? Samantha told me about her coworkers, but the ones she was around most of the time were bartenders—not guys who were important enough to have an office here at Club V. He had to be one of the business managers or owners. The place was big enough that whoever had enough money to have that kind of stake in it was extremely wealthy. Jake Mesa had to be pretty important to the business.

I could always ask Celeste about him, but there was no way that I wanted to admit what I had seen. I felt like the information would be safe with her, it just seemed like something I shouldn’t share. What if she needed to report it to someone? What if that guy wasn’t supposed to be doing what he was doing back there? Well, I had managed to wander up on what he was doing without much trouble. Hell, if you were going to get up to that kind of activity then you should probably learn to lock the door. Maybe that’s what he was into—people walking in on him.

At least I could rest assured that he hadn’t seen me in there. If he had…well, it would be an entirely different story. I was pretty sure I would get thrown out and told to never return. Was that trespassing? Would anyone believe that I had simply been looking for the bathroom? A likely story, when I had walked right past the door to the restroom. They really needed to get some better lighting in that hallway.

Celeste placed the drink in front of me and put a tiny black cocktail straw in it.

“You look troubled, Taylor. What’s going on?”

I shrugged. Celeste was too good at her job and I wasn’t in the mood to divulge these things to her. “Oh, you know. Just thinking about money stuff,” I waved my hand in the air like it was nothing.

Celeste nodded. “I could have guessed. Funnily enough, I wanted to ask you about something.”

I gave her a sideways look. “What?”

“Well, now I don’t have the authority to hire on the floor—that’s not my jurisdiction, but if you were looking for a little extra work, I could put in a good word for you. I’m sure there is a place for you somewhere here.” She leaned in closer. “I don’t want this to sound like a come on, but you’ve got a great body and you’re exactly the sort of girl they love to hire here. As long as you know your way around things…”

I sighed. “Okay, so here’s the thing. As much fun as that all sounds like to me—and trust me, it does, I’ve got a crazy appetite—I don’t know if I am cut out for it and there’s something that I need to take care of before I consider it.”

Celeste looked at me again and regarded my face for a moment before her eyes went wide. “Damn, girl. I can usually spot them from a mile away. I would never have guessed you were a virgin.”

It was my turn to look at her wide-eyed. “How did you figure that out?” I whisper-shouted.

She grinned. “You said you had something you needed to take care of first. Context clues.” She tapped her temple. “Well, let’s keep this discreet, but there’s a place here for virgins too, if you’re interested.”

I shook my head. I had heard rumors about that sort of thing. If I ever got desperate for it then maybe, but I had no plans to sell my virginity off to the highest bidder.

“No, thanks. I think I’ll just take care of it the old-fashioned way. Maybe I’ll pick up one of these guys on the way out or something.”

She laughed at that. “Once they are out the door they are fair game, but I’ll warn you, they’re usually exhausted and useless for a while after.”

  “I imagine so.”

Celeste left me to finish my drink and I sat there wondering about the future. Working at a place like Club V was definitely not for me. I had never bartended, so in that regard, I wouldn’t be good at it. Any of the other work that was available there…didn’t seem very well-suited to my capabilities. I thought I would be good in bed, but I wanted to find out with someone of my own choosing first. Someone who knew what they were doing. Not someone who was paying for it. I wasn’t looking for love, but I was looking for the kind of desire that
made the person putty in my hands.

It dawned on me that what seemed so appealing about what Jake was doing to the girl in the diamond collar was the power he had over her. The way she was willingly submitting herself to him, allowing him to bind her to the chair and then whip her when she didn’t obey his commands. I imagined what it would be like to be on her end of things—to want to reach orgasm so badly and to be denied. I had never ever been in that situation before. Most of my orgasms had been at my own hand and I certainly wasn’t disciplined enough to hold back. In the past, I had tried edging, but I had a feeling it worked better when someone else was in control of the vibrator.

I was squirming in my seat again and forced myself to stop, not wanting to draw any further attention to myself, from Celeste or anyone else. My breath caught in my throat when I looked up and saw him standing there in the doorway on the other side of the bar.

Whatever you do, do not make eye contact. The words kept running through my mind. I was certain that most of my feelings were showing on my face and there was no way for me to hide them. Surely this guy would walk right past me and sense that I had seen him minutes before, his face buried between the legs of the girl in his office. A few seconds later she followed behind him, grinning like a Cheshire cat. She had a diamond bikini top on with a matching thong and as she moved past him he smacked her ass and she laughed, hurrying off out onto the main floor.

I kept my eyes down on my drink, hoping he wouldn’t notice me there, but I had no luck. I could sense his approach as he sidled up next to me at the bar.

“I don’t believe I’ve ever seen you here before,” he said, looking at me curiously. “New member?”

I shook my head as I finally looked up to meet his eyes. Why in the hell did he have to have such gorgeous eyes? It all combined with the chiseled features of his face, his darkly tanned skin, black hair, and the slightest hint of scruff to make him so deliciously sexy and fuckable that I had to fight the urge I felt to jump him. This man was not my type. I wanted someone who would do exactly what he was told, worry about pleasing me and me first, and never ever get the idea that I was his to own and use however he wanted.

“No, I’m just here to pick up my friend. She bartends here.”

Comprehension flashed across his face and he nodded as he extended his right hand to shake mine. “I’m Jake Mesa and you are?”

I took his hand, realizing as I did so that it had very recently been deep in that girl’s twat.

“Taylor Dawson,” I said, smiling politely.

“Great to meet you, Taylor.” He let go of my hand but didn’t move, taking his time looking me over. I had never felt so consumed by someone’s eyes. It was like he was taking me all in, assessing all of my features, weighing me up in his head and deciding what he thought of it all.

He grinned. “I really thought you might have been a club member. What a shame. We could use some younger blood around here.”

I tilted my head in the direction of his young friend who was dripping with diamonds. “Seems like you have plenty of young blood around here.”

The smile disappeared from his face as he leaned in close to my cheek and breathed into my ear, “Fresh blood.”

I gulped and took a sip from my drink.

He backed away slowly. “If you ever think you might be interested in a membership here, let me know. I’ve got the hook up.” He pulled a card from his pocket and slipped it under my hand. “Really, call me any time.”

Jake Mesa got up and walked away. As I moved on my barstool I realized that I had soaked my panties all the way through, just from being in the man’s presence.

Celeste came over. “Sorry, I can’t help you with that one.”

I shook my head, looking down at the card and seeing the Club V logo on one side. On the other, it read “Jake Mesa, Owner”. It was followed by his business phone and email, and at the very bottom, written in pen it said “Personal cell” followed by seven digits.

“Careful,” Celeste said with a wink.

“Where the hell is Sam?” I asked with a tone of exasperation. I had been in Club V for far too long this evening, although it probably hadn’t been very much time at all. The place was getting to me.

As if conjured out of nowhere, Sam appeared. “I’m right here! You ready to go?”

I nodded and stood, downing the rest of my drink. “You’re driving,” I said as I handed her the keys.

“Cool,” she replied as I followed her out of the bar and into the parking lot, thankful for the fresh air and to be out of Club V—and far away from Jake Mesa.

  Chapter 4

Happy to be in my sweats and an old t-shirt, I settled onto the old couch for some trashy reality tv and some time to chat with Samantha after her long day at work and my very weird experience at Club V.

“Seriously, I don’t know if I’ve ever told you how fucking weird your workplace is, but I think I finally got my fill of it today.”

Samantha laughed gleefully as she sipped a cup of tea and flipped through the channels. “I can’t imagine what you might mean by that.” Her words were sarcastic. The truth was that she must know exactly how fucking weird the place was. She had to go to work there every day.

“I don’t know how you do it, Sam. All of those people just lying around, fucking, waiting to fuck, hoping to find someone to fuck, sitting next to me at the bar and hoping that I’m on the fucking menu.”

She shrugged and nodded. “Yeah, some of them can be pretty bad. You know, they aren’t ever supposed to approach the bar staff that way. It’s in the rules and they all know it and somehow I think that makes them want it more. It’s against the rules so they want to do it. They want to see if they can be the one guy to get past all of that to convince us that they are worth losing a job over. I know a few people who have done that and it’s never worked out for them. Members get booted and bar staff get fired. It’s a lose-lose situation. Was someone bothering you?”

I brushed it off. “There was one guy. It was no big deal and Celeste was right there. Not that I needed her backup, but I was glad to have her there just in case. He didn’t seem like the sort to get persistent about it. You never know though.”

“Isn’t that the truth.” Samantha settled on some kind of dating reality show, but the volume was turned down low and we continued talking to each other. “I’m lucky to have Celeste for a boss. She really looks out for us. Some guys and even women can get really out of hand, but she nips it in the ass right away.”

I nodded and stared at the tv, wondering what was appropriate to bring up about the conversation I’d had with Celeste or any of the things I had seen that evening. If Jake Mesa was an owner then that meant he was Samantha’s boss. I had never heard her talk about him, probably because she didn’t run into the owners much, but she might be able to shed some light on the guy.

“Celeste talked to me about working there.”

Samantha looked over at me, a little surprised. “Really? But you’ve never tended a bar before. She’s pretty serious about the people she hires for the bar.”

“Yeah, umm, she wasn’t talking about the bar.”

Samantha suddenly understood what I was talking about. “Oh. Wow. Okay. Well, is that something you’re considering?” I could see that she was shocked. She had known me most of my life, of course, this was going to come as a surprise to her.

I shook my head. “Nah. I mean, I’m sure the money is great, but I told her I had some things to take care of first.”

“And by ‘things’ you mean your virginity, right?” Samantha said without missing a beat.

  “Yeah.”

“Well, Tay, you know I’ve always said I thought you might be making too big of a deal out of it. I know you put up this tough exterior and you want things to be the way you want them, but maybe you should just dip your toes in the water and experience something. You never know where it might lead. And even if it doesn’t go anywhere you’ve had the experience. There’s nothi
ng wrong with that.”

I digested her words in silence. There had been so many opportunities for me and there still were. I could decide any day to let someone be my first. Maybe I just needed to let it be the next guy who walked into the garage.

“Maybe you should seduce someone,” Sam added suddenly. “It sounds like exactly your sort of thing. You like a challenge.”

I grinned and rolled my eyes.

“No, really. Set your sights high. Maybe pick out some guy at the garage. One with a super expensive car. Do your homework when you get his name, make sure he isn’t married, and then bang him in the backseat of his car on your lunch break. It can’t be that difficult for someone who looks like you.”

“Well, thanks,” I said, not exactly sure how to take the compliment.

“Hey, you know I mean that with the most kindness. You are gorgeous, Tay. You could have any guy that you want. I know you want to make sure it’s someone who knows what he’s doing, but honest to god, you’ve got to be so skilled with that vibrator by now that I’m not sure any guy can live up to your expectations.”

I shot a hair tie at her and scowled.

Samantha laughed. “You know it’s true. Seriously, if you want to take care of things, just pick a guy. Get it over with. And from there…” She grinned and looked terribly mischievous. “Then you can work your way through piles of them. There are so many out there. Just think of who you could be picking up at bars. Frankly, I’m jealous.”

“It’s not like you don’t have the same world and pool of guys at your fingertips!” I exclaimed.

She shook her head. “Yeah, but I’ve got the feeling you’ve got something really great ahead of you. You’ve never done it before, you’re older than some people are when they have sex for the first time and you’ve got a good idea of what you want. I think you’re in a great place.”

I fished the card out of my pocket and placed it on the coffee table, pushing it toward her. She reached for it and saw the name. Looking up with some surprise, she spoke with trepidation.
